Multi-Agency Safeguarding and Child Protection (level 3)
½ Day Refresher
For providers who are private or fee paying the cost will be £50
This half-day workshop provides an update to practitioners who have attended the above workshop within the past 3 years. New and upcoming legislative changes are explored and emerging or changing risks are highlighted in group work with scenarios.
This course is not suitable for practitioners who have not attended the full day Multi-Agency Safeguarding and Child Protection course before.
Please note: Our workshops are for practitioners who work within any of these boroughs; Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea or Westminster.
Learning Outcomes
• Have up to date information about the legal and procedural framework for safeguarding children (thresholds guide, local assessment protocol, referral process, new legislation)
• Understand the role of the LSCP and this year’s (21-22) LSCB priorities.
• Update your knowledge and understanding of Modern Slavery, CE, and LADO enquiries and how to respond appropriately.
• Have knowledge of the lessons from local and national serious case reviews
Please note this workshop will be delivered online via Microsoft Teams, unless the Covid-19 situation improves and we are able to revert back to face to face training.
